Part B: Chiswick living guide – Deni’s West London W4 home

To put the icing on the cake of our Chiswick ‘area profile’, we took a trip to Chiswick to check out the stunning loft conversion in West London that we just finished for Deni and find out what’s next on the cards for this avid renovator.

1. What made you decide on home improvements?

I have always loved doing up apartments. The one Landmark Architecture helped me refurbish was my fourth one.

2. What was your process when looking for a home improvements company?

I asked three different companies to meet me at my apartment and give me a quote.

3. What set us apart from our competitors?

Roza, who came to visit me, represented the start of my love affair with Landmark. She was kind, approachable and warm. She instantly gave me an idea of the cost and what exactly was achievable.

4. Did you have concerns or planning permission issues that Landmark Architecture was able to help with?

I did end up needing planning permission, which Landmark’s architects dealt with beautifully. The first application was refused, but their patience and skills meant success the second time around.

5. Most of our clients find us through word of mouth or online recommendations, was this the case for you?

I found you because of the Landmark banners you use on the scaffolding of your projects.  I saw these quite regularly in all the best areas of London.

6. How did your project manager keep you involved and relaxed about any worries you had?

I cannot stress enough the extent to which everybody from the project manager to the building contractor was professional and approachable. The project manager made sure we were both happy with the result at every stage of the project.

7. What did you find best about Landmark Architecture’s customer care?

I very much liked the connection the Landmark Team had together; they worked as one. Nobody at any level let me down. They all made me feel like my project was personal and important to them.

8. How are you using the new space?

I am enjoying my new space so much. I had a mansard loft conversion built which includes a large bathroom, a dressing room and a roof terrace. The bathroom now also includes a gym. My partner and I love it!

9. Would you consider further development to your property?

I have made every possible refurbishment to this property. However, I am thinking about selling it and starting a new project on another property. It will be a relief to know I’ll have Landmark at hand to help me with my new venture…

10. Is there anything else you’d like to add?

Refurbishing a property can be an extremely stressful experience. My experience with Landmark was an absolute dream and I can’t wait to get them involved in my new creation.
