Once you have approved a design we will conduct a full survey of your property so that we can draw up comprehensive plans as a component of our full architectural planning services. All plans will be prepared using CAD design to ensure maximum clarity and to allow for amendments to be easily made.
Not all loft conversions require planning permission: some schemes merely require a certificate of lawfulness under permitted development. Our sister company Landmark LLP will assist you with all planning issues, and we can manage any necessary applications on your behalf. We have many years’ experience working with the various London boroughs. We can advise on which developments are permitted in your area.
We use the information from our survey to produce detailed plans and elevations of your home and the proposed development. We will also advise you on whether full planning permission is necessary or if a certificate of lawfulness will suffice. Should your design require planning permission then we will submit these documents as part of the planning application, which we make on your behalf.
